This is one of the first pieces I designed since leaving Shillington College where I studied design. I designed this book cover to be professional and modern. The front cover needed to be easily viewed at 30% of its full size for use on Amazon.com.
The next two items I designed while working for Design with Style, a boutique design studio based in Brisbane. The first is an A4 double sided flyer. Typesetting is one of the things I really enjoy so it was a fun brief. After receiving the flyer the client requested a letterhead and with compliments slip to match.
One of my absolute favourite clients is Kylie Johnson, creative genius behind paper boat press. She created some absolutely lovely illustrations for her 2012 calendar which I put together using Illustrator and InDesign. You can pick up one from her online store.
This is a logo I designed for a friend for his acapella group. The four strong rectangles represent the four members of the group while the different placement of the rectangles represent a musical harmony. The type is strong and modern.
I have also created some invitations for friends special events. I love typography and these two invites show that. I like the ability to use colour and size to create hierarchy in a piece.
